As we look upon the current situations of the world, we must remember God’s authoritative powers He bestowed upon us.
Isaiah 61:1-3 says “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
We have the power, that dunamis power. We are anointed and appointed to not only withstand but to bring blessings and proclaim freedom and free the captives. We are here at this time and this place to battle these demonic forces placed here to disrupt the building of God’s Kingdom. Now more than ever the Spirit of God is proclaimed without shame. You see it everywhere, in the streets, on television, at the post game interviews of sporting events. There is an uprising and the adversary knows it!! Why do you think a crisis this big is happening all over the world? We are a threat, satan knows it, and is trying to put a stop to it. He has done it before! In Genesis 6:9 it says Noah was perfect in all his generations. The purpose of the ark wasn’t to rid the earth of evil because it’s still here. To say so is to say God failed which we know is impossible. The purpose of the ark was to fulfill a promise. To keep the bloodline to Jesus pure!!
So you see we are anointed and appointed to put on our whole armor of God and be faithful to cast away this fear that is amongst us. Pastor Manny nailed it Sunday so if you missed this week’s sermon I strongly advise you to pull it up on replay.
